As a nutritionist, I help people with meal planning in realistic, sustainable ways.
Claire’s Journey
It is my mission to create easy, budget-conscious recipes for newbies and seasoned pros on a gluten-free or low-carb journey.
Struggling with health issues and my weight (both high and low) for most of my life, depression and anxiety took over at times.
The only times I could ever pull myself out from my downward spiral were when I was cooking.
So, I went to culinary school.
After attending school and running a boutique catering company for several years, I decided to begin eating a keto friendly diet and lost 65 lbs within six months.
Admittedly, I fell off the wagon and as soon as I went back to “normal” eating, I began experiencing severe health problems. I was later diagnosed with celiac disease.
Even as a chef, cutting gluten from my diet felt overwhelming and struggled at times.
As I became more comfortable cooking with my needs in mind, we decided to get back into low carb cooking and incorporate keto recipes back into our diet.
My mental and physical health problems vanished.
Finding so much success, lead to an obsession with food and how what people eat can affect every aspect of their life. As time passed, I became a nutritionist.
As a nutritionist, I work with people to meal plan based on individual and family needs.
For some people, budget is a huge factor in what they cook.
Also, some people live extremely busy lifestyles so a maximum of 30 minutes can be dedicated to cooking.
Or picky eaters? Maybe you aren’t sure how to make meals everyone in your family will eat.
That’s where I come in.
Why Wheatless Protection?
Everyone’s journey looks different. This isn’t about eating “good” or “bad.” It’s “better” and “worse.”
Everyone has an opinion about keto, good bad or somewhere in between. We, at Wheatless Protection, understand everyone’s food journey looks different and protect that.
Keto cult followers who feel superior over newbies, and vets alike, aren’t welcome.
Neither are the normies who put down people for a decision they have made for themself.
We are all about supporting people by helping and educating them along the way.
